Vatican Judicial Summit on 
Human Trafficking & Organised Crime (2016)

Selected as one of approximately 100 participants worldwide to attend an invitation-only judicial summit convened by the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences, at the request of Pope Francis, bringing together senior judges, prosecutors, magistrates and legal practitioners from multiple jurisdictions.

The summit, held at the Vatican, focused on the global judicial response to human trafficking, modern slavery and organised crime, and on strengthening international cooperation, judicial independence and victim-centred justice in transnational criminal enforcement.
