At Scivetti & Associates, pro bono work is treated as a matter of professional responsibility, not visibility. We undertake pro bono representation selectively, focusing on cases where individuals face serious legal consequences and lack access to effective legal representation

Our work is primarily centred on criminal defence, particularly where liberty, due process, or long-term personal impact is at stake. We are often instructed in matters involving vulnerable or disadvantaged individuals, foreign nationals without local support, and situations where the imbalance of power is pronounced. In such cases, careful preparation and sound judgment can materially affect outcomes.

From time to time, we also act in matters raising broader public interest concerns, including issues of procedural fairness or detention. These cases are undertaken quietly and without publicity.

Our approach to pro bono work reflects how we practise generally: senior-level involvement, disciplined judgment, and respect for the seriousness of what is at stake.

Pro bono clients receive the same care and rigour as any other client of the firm.

Justice matters only when someone is truly there to stand with the person who needs it.
