Hartrisha Kaur Sandhu

Trisha is a graduate of the University of Essex. She subsequently pursued the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) and commenced her pupillage at Scivetti & Associates under the tutelage of Datuk Tania Scivetti. Upon completion of her pupillage, Trisha was retained at the firm as a Legal Assistant, where she continues to develop and build her legal career and gain professional experience.

Admitted to practice in 2023, Trisha has gained experience in criminal litigation, including matters involving drug possession, drug trafficking, human trafficking, and white-collar offences, particularly money laundering. She is eager to further develop her expertise in these areas and broaden her experience in complex legal matters. In addition to her criminal practice, Trisha has also been involved in regulatory and compliance-related work, including matters under the Strategic Trade Act 2010.

In this capacity, she has assisted clients in navigating export-control requirements and in obtaining export licences for controlled and strategic items, providing her with valuable exposure to regulatory frameworks governing cross-border trade and compliance obligations. Throughout her time at Scivetti & Associates, Trisha has been involved in a number of high-profile and complex matters and has had the privilege of assisting reputable senior lawyers, gaining invaluable exposure to intricate legal proceedings.

The mentorship and guidance she received at the firm has instilled in her a strong sense of dedication and a relentless drive to pursue justice for her clients. These experiences have shaped her perspective on the law, fostering a deep respect for the principles of justice and the importance of providing exceptional legal services, values she firmly believes in.
