Alif Lamra

Muhammad Alif Lamra is a litigation lawyer at Scivetti & Associates, with a practice focused on civil litigation, personal injury, insurance disputes, and related contentious matters. Born in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Alif pursued his tertiary education at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), where he obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with Honours in 2019 and a Bachelor of Laws (Shariah) (LLB(S)) with Honours in 2020.

He completed his pupillage at Messrs. Dass Jainab & Associates, where he trained in civil litigation and developed a strong foundation in personal injury and insurance-related claims. He was subsequently admitted to the Malaysian Bar in January 2023. Prior to joining Scivetti & Associates in 2024, Alif practised in civil litigation with a particular emphasis on personal injury claims, property damage disputes, and insurance matters.

His work regularly involved reviewing and interpreting insurance policies and contractual agreements, advising clients on coverage positions, liability exposure, risk management, and disputes arising from insurance policy repudiation, coverage disputes and contractual liabilities.

Since joining Scivetti & Associates, Alif’s practice has continued to expand across a broader range of civil litigation and dispute resolution matters, while also handling selected criminal cases. He has been involved in high-value and commercially significant disputes, including complex litigation matters resulting in successful outcomes and recoveries amounting to millions of Malaysian Ringgit for clients.

Alif’s approach to litigation is shaped by careful preparation, close attention to evidentiary detail, and a strong appreciation of the practical and human impact of legal disputes.
